Job Description
Completion of accredited associate, baccalaureate or master’s degree program. Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota, Demonstrates at the time of employment and every two years thereafter, competency in CPR.
Knowledge of current nursing practices and techniques. Knowledge of emergency procedures and medical intervention techniques. Knowledge of infection control practices and their relation to patient are outcomes. Skilled in using basic patient care related equipment and supplies. Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing. Ability to effectively participate on an interdisciplinary treatment team. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with patients, family member and co-workers. Ability to recognize changes in patient’s condition or body
Additional Information One year minimum ED nursing experience. ACLS, BLS current. TNCC/ENPC preferred.
Additional Information AHA CPR and ACLS current. ENPC/PALS and/or TNCC preferred.
